The Pease Family Fund (also referred to as PBP Family Fund) is rooted in gratitude and a passion for giving back. Established to support those who have shaped our journey, and most importantly, to give thanks for our daughter’s continued health, the Fund champions meaningful change in key areas of need.
When our daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, Jessica and I knew we had to do something, support something greater to help find a cure for this disease, and support those who show tremendous care to families in need entering into these scary stages of diagnosis. Children’s National Hospital was absolutely phenomenal in the care they provided, and the education to start a new normal. We are forever thankful and grateful for the support we have received over the years, and we look forward to growing our charities fund with hopes to support the causes which align closely with our hearts!

What We Support
Every year, the Fund directs generous donations toward:
- Diabetes research, particularly the Breakthrough T1D initiative.
- Children’s National Hospital, supporting pediatric care and wellness.
- Local missions & causes within The Community Foundation of Frederick County
- Local baseball programs, enriching youth sports and fostering community spirit.
How We Give Back
- Each Fall we proudly host our signature event – The Pease Baseball Family Charity Golf Tournament, bringing the community together in support of a great cause. 100% of the proceeds from the tournament are fully reinvested into the Fund and its mission.
- As a token of our appreciation, sponsors enjoy benefits such as tournament entry, and a special recognition both on our charity website and golf course the day of the event.
