Pease Baseball instructors are former professional baseball and college players as well as a retired D1 College Head Coach. Each instructor brings not only a wealth of experience, but exceptional knowledge and authentic approaches to how they teach.

Pitching, Trackman Analyst

Conway has both coached and played baseball at the professional and collegiate levels. Most recently he held roles as Pitching Coach and Development Coach for the Baltimore Orioles organization (2022 #1 Minor League System ranked by MLB) where he was responsible for pitch design and player planning using advanced data analysis, including Trackman and Edgertronic, for AA Bowie (2022, 2019) and High A Aberdeen (2020-2021).

Evan Englebrook, a Mechanicsburg, PA native, began his baseball journey at Shippensburg University, where he earned First Team All-American honors in his senior year. This was soon followed by his selection in the 8th round of the 2004 Major League Baseball Draft by the Houston Astros.

Jacob Ference is a former standout catcher at Salisbury University and the University of Virginia, where he earned All-American honors and broke Salisbury’s single-season home run record. With a powerful collegiate career behind him, Jacob brings elite-level experience to his private instruction in catching, hitting, and athletic performance. He is also training to lead strength and conditioning at our Mount Airy location.

Myles Gayman, born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, is a former professional baseball pitcher known for his tenure with the Cincinnati Reds organization. Standing at 6’4″ and weighing 200 pounds, Gayman is a right-handed pitcher and batter.

Licensed Dietitian, Sports Nutrition

Amy Goldsmith founded Kindred Nutrition in 2010. She became a dietitian in 1999 and although she has worked with many realms of Medical Nutrition Therapy, specializes in Eating Disorders, Sports Nutrition, and Practice Management. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Ivor was drafted as a pitcher by the Kansas City Royals in the 17th round. He played five years for the Kansas City Royals organization, achieving Player of the Month recognition as well as being a Top 60 Prospect within the organization. Ivor reached as high as Advanced A baseball in Wilmington, Delaware.

Colby Maun, the Director of Player Performance and Development at Pease Baseball Professionals, combines a wealth of experience in sports science, strength training, and athlete development. A former collegiate pitcher at Frederick Community College and Wilson College, Colby’s journey in baseball was shaped by both success and adversity. After a UCL injury led to Tommy John surgery, Colby’s passion for exercise and sports science grew, driving his dedication to helping athletes optimize performance and overcome challenges.

Scott Thomson is a fixture in the baseball community in the state of Maryland. He began is coaching career as an assistant coach at Western Maryland College from 1992-1997. In the fall of 1998 Scott took the Head Coach position at Mount St. Mary’s University (NCAA 1) where he was the Head Coach for 23 years. While at the Mount he was the Northeast Conference Coach of the year in 2007.
