Hitting Instruction Built on Real Development

At Pease Baseball Professionals, our hitting instruction is grounded in years of daily work with players who have progressed through our system and gone on to succeed at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. We do not teach a single swing model. We develop hitters.

Every athlete who steps into our cages is evaluated as an individual. Our job is to refine what already exists, eliminate inefficiencies, and build a repeatable, powerful swing that holds up against real pitching.

What We Train and Why It Matters

Our hitting instruction emphasizes efficient movement and intent. We focus on ground force production, lower-half efficiency, rotational power, and creating a short, connected swing. Balance and stability are foundational. Quickness to the ball, pitch tracking, timing, and adjustability are trained every day, not talked about in theory.

We build hitters who can generate power without sacrificing barrel control, who stay on time, and who can make adjustments at game speed.

Individualized Development, Not Templates

There are no cookie-cutter swings here. Every hitter has a unique build, rhythm, and athletic profile. Our coaches refine each player’s natural mechanics to maximize consistency, bat speed, and confidence in the box. The goal is not to look good in a drill. The goal is to perform when the game speeds up.

Data Used With Purpose

TrackMan integration is available through optional subscription models for hitters who want deeper feedback on their development. When data is used, it supports the feel and intent we coach on the floor. Numbers never replace coaching. They reinforce it.

Coaching, Connection, and Culture

Our coaches build strong relationships with players because trust accelerates development. We mentor, lead, and hold athletes accountable to high standards. The cage is a learning environment, but it is also a place where habits, confidence, and competitiveness are built.

Beyond the Batter’s Box

We believe great hitters are built through more than mechanics alone. Character, work ethic, and personal growth matter. Our commitment is to develop disciplined athletes who carry the same focus and confidence from the cage into competition, the classroom, and life beyond baseball.

“We don’t chase trends. We build swings and approaches that last.”

Brody Lindsey’s baseball journey reflects a player who produced at every level and ultimately left college baseball as one of the most accomplished hitters in program history.

A Monrovia, Maryland native, Brody played at DeMatha Catholic High School, one of the nation’s premier baseball programs, before continuing his career at Frederick Community College, where he immediately showed impact bat potential with power production and run creation. He later transferred to Lycoming College, where his offensive profile exploded and his name became permanently etched into the record books.

At FCC, Brody recorded 4 home runs and 20 RBI, establishing himself as a dangerous middle-of-the-order presence before advancing to NCAA competition.

At Lycoming, Brody developed into one of the most productive hitters in program history.

His collegiate career concluded with the following:
